About

Hi there,

I’m the person behind 36Exps.

I’ve always believed there’s something special about shooting on film—something that forces me to slow down, pay attention, and truly connect with the world around me. Every 35mm roll comes with 36 frames, and for me, each of those frames is a chance to capture a genuine slice of life, without filters or shortcuts.

I focus on street and documentary photography because that’s where I find the most honest, unfiltered moments. There’s a certain thrill in walking through a bustling city or a quiet alley with my Minolta X-700, never knowing exactly what’ll catch my eye—or how it’ll all turn out once I develop the roll. That element of surprise keeps me grounded and reminds me why I fell in love with analog in the first place.

On 36Exps.com, I share the photos I take, the stories behind them, and a bit of what I’ve learned along the way. You’ll see both color and black-and-white images, along with my thoughts on cameras, film stocks, and the process itself. My hope is that these posts inspire you to slow down, really see your surroundings, and appreciate the simple magic that happens when light hits film.

Thanks for stopping by—I’m excited to have you join me on this analog journey. If you have any questions, tips, or want to connect, feel free to reach out. After all, every roll is a new adventure, and I can’t wait to see where the next 36 frames take us.
